About
A center for executive education, research, and leadership judgment.
The Rick Goings Institute helps current and emerging leaders strengthen judgment, sharpen strategy, and lead with broader context in a rapidly changing world.
Advancing leadership for a world that won't stand still.
The Rick Goings Institute at Rollins College is a center for original research and thought leadership on leadership, innovation, and executive education, bridging the gap between scholarly rigor and real-world practice.

What We Do
Original Research
We produce rigorous, independent scholarship on the practitioner questions that matter most, from leadership under technological disruption to institutional trust, governance, and the future of executive judgment.
Executive Education
Our programs bring together senior executives, faculty, industry leaders, and operators for immersive learning experiences that sharpen frameworks, strengthen leadership capacity, and translate strategy into institutional action.
AI Engineering
We design and deploy practical AI tools, agents, and learning systems that help organizations and educators scale expertise, accelerate decision-making, and build genuine AI capability.
Our Mission
We equip current and emerging leaders with the research, frameworks, and perspectives they need to lead with clarity and purpose in a rapidly changing world. Our work is grounded in the conviction that better-led organizations create better societies, and that the quality of leadership at the top determines outcomes for everyone within and around those organizations.
The Institute occupies a deliberate position at the intersection of academic scholarship and executive practice. We are rigorous enough to produce work that holds up to peer scrutiny, and accessible enough to be useful to a CEO on a Sunday afternoon.
Our History
The Rick Goings Institute was established through a transformational gift from Rick Goings, the legendary former Chairman and CEO of Tupperware Brands, who built one of the world's most iconic direct-selling companies across more than 100 countries. His career exemplifies what the Institute studies: leadership that adapts, cultures that endure, and organizations that generate value across generations and geographies.
Located within Rollins College's Crummer Graduate School of Business, the Institute draws on Florida's oldest recognized college and its 140-year tradition of developing principled, globally minded citizens. Rollins has long been ranked among the top regional universities in the South, and its Winter Park campus provides a fitting environment for reflective inquiry.
Since its founding, the Institute has convened hundreds of senior executives, produced original reports on leadership in emerging markets, and launched cohort programs that have attracted participants from Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and leading nonprofits.
